Why build this?

The context switch kills the idea.

You're walking, or in a meeting, or just away from your desk. You have a clear solution to a bug, or an idea for a feature. Usually, you write a note and forget it. Or you try to remember it until you get back to VS Code.

By then, the clarity is gone.

Coding on mobile is terrible.

SSH clients, cloud IDEs, VNC... they all try to replicate the desktop experience on a 6-inch screen. It doesn't work. Typing code on a glass keyboard is painful.

The solution: Don't write code.

Artifact isn't an editor. It's a localized agent. You give the intent, it handles the syntax. You verify the logic, it handles the git commands.

It keeps you in the creative flow, wherever you are.
